I moved to Chicago in 1998. I didn't know a soul and spent the next few years taking working too much,mastering the art of public transportation, dating men that were wrong for me and going on amazing solo travel adventures.

Along the way, I learned a thing or to and decided other ladies could benefit from my ups and downs. I then realized that I, too, was learning from other women that went through their own dramas.

Gals' Guide was born.

If you are about to graduate from college or are new to a 'Big City', have no fear. You have a bevy of women to give you some tough love, but also a shoulder to cry on if you need it. Come on in!

How should you get started?
