Life in Your 20s and Beyond...

So I had my very first phone interview with UCSF today. I was so nervous my hands were shaking. It was mostly an overview of what the job would entail and getting to know me and my personality. What worries me is I have no idea what to take from it because it was a phone interview. So I am absolutely nervous and anxious about it. And this position would be great if it worked out!!!!

My resume has been forwarded to another person who is suppose to contact me and speak with me in more detail about the job. I think that will be the real interview. Its a research associate position at UC - San Fran :) Will keep you updated.

Well the first tip is to breath!!! :) Secondly is to be honest about your answers and be prepared. Its like an in person interview, know the company you will be interviewing with. And I believe the biggest thing is to ask questions about the company and the work environment. Hope that helps!!!

Neha, you made it past the first obstacle, and with flying colors I'm sure :) Congrats and I look forward to hearing what the next step is!! Any tips for us on how to conduct a successful phone interview?
